the shed & its band of happy volunteers are eager to serve you this growing season

Whether it’s widgets or a bit of wotsit for your plot, we most likely stock it, so do pop in and see us. Buying your bits and bobs from the KATA trading shed, wonderfully managed by Trudy, not only raises money for your association but is bound to make you feel glad you called. It’s all run by volunteers to boot. If they like you they might even pop the kettle on…

Normally the shed is open every Saturday & Sunday, 10am-12pm from February right through the busy growing season until the volunteers put their feet up at the end of October. They’re so lovely they’re even open on bank holidays too. Inside you’ll not only find helpful people but also a good stock of allotmenting basics, such as compost (including peat-free), fertilisers, netting, canes, fleece.

Just to clarify, beer isn’t always on tap when you visit the shed!
